Creating a funstuff object with Misfit is relatively easy, the application itself is design to be easy to use and it exports to .md3 which is ideal.

The model

We've all done it, we found a pan which looked precisely the right diameter and size for a hat. We screw the pan onto our head only to find we can't get it off again.

We'll make a simple saucepan (with handle) and use that for our funstuff.

Open misfit 3d and create a cylinder with 4 segments, 16 sides.

Rotate the cylinder 90 degrees anti-clockwise so it looks like a saucepan.

Select the very top row of vertices using the vertex selection tool (left most button) and press delete to create an opening.

One again, select the very top row of verticies and use the scale tool to make a small flare.

With the top row of verticies still selected use the move tool (press Shift while moving down) and move the selected vertices downwards so the flare is subtle.

We're trying to create a shape similar to the example.
